PORTRAITS

motherhood
These sessions are designed to honor the tenderness, connection, and immense love that defines this time of your life. The cuddles, the giggles, the look they give you, the way they fit against your chest, needs to be documented and preserved!
As a mother myself, I built this studio around that feeling. Every part of your experience from the first message to the portrait on your wall has been designed to feel effortless and deeply meaningful.
Curated Experience
Every piece has been chosen because it photographs beautifully. Fabric drapes, wraps, and minimal bodysuits and dresses, between ten and twenty looks available. All camera-tested. All intentional. You do not need to shop. You do not need to stress. You just need to arrive.
If you have something personal you want to include, bring it and we will talk through it together.

The
Full Experience
The tiniest version of child.
This stage disappears before you are ready for it to.
Alert, engaged, and completely captivated by your face. The smiles have arrived. They look at you like you are their entire world because you are.
Chubby cheeks and baby rolls. They can sit but not yet mobile making this one of the most photographable stages of the first year.
Full of energy, full of personality, full of opinions. The bond between a mother and her child is worth documenting at every age. There is no expiry date on this.
We recommend booking when your baby is at least 6 months old. At this stage your little one can sit up, hold their head confidently, and interact with you during the session — which results in the most natural and connected portraits we create. That said, we photograph mothers and children at every age and there is never a wrong time to document this bond. Our studio typically books 4–6 weeks in advance so reach out as soon as you know you want to do this.
All of them. Newborns through toddlers, older children, and beyond. The bond between a mother and her child is worth documenting at every chapter. Each age brings something completely different and completely irreplaceable — there is no expiry date on this.
Motherhood sessions are designed around the bond between you and your child. Partners and siblings are welcome to join for part of the session, but the focus and the majority of the portraits are of you and your little one. If you are looking for full family portraits, reach out and we can talk through what that looks like.
Simple, neutral, and minimal. Avoid logos, busy patterns, and anything that competes visually with the portrait. Soft whites, creams, and neutrals photograph beautifully. You will receive a full prep guide after booking with specific guidance for your child's age and the session.
Very little. Your full prep guide is sent after booking and covers everything. The main things: try to schedule during your child's best time of day, bring comfort items if needed, and avoid the session right before nap time if possible. Your wardrobe, hair, and makeup are all handled here. You do not need to bring a thing.
The session fee does not include images. Session fee covers consultation, hair and makeup, wardrobe, direction, and your reveal. Image collections start at $800 and are chosen at your reveal, on your terms, after you have seen everything.
Absolutely. Gift certificates are available and can be beautifully packaged to present as a gift. Reach out directly and I will take care of every detail. It is one of the most meaningful gifts a mother can receive.
You will receive a preview link to your gallery approximately one week after your session. Once you make your selections at your reveal, your fully retouched final images are delivered within three weeks. Wall art and print products typically arrive within two to three weeks after ordering.
The studio is located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Exact address and parking details are shared after booking.
You are not the first to worry about this — and I have genuinely seen it all. I approach every session with patience and a calm presence that children respond to naturally. I do not force anything. I do not ask children to smile. Some of the most extraordinary images I have ever made came from the unplanned, in-between moments. Take a deep breath. Your children are going to be just fine.
